Thanks for wanting to join the Coburg Cycling Club
We offer two levels of membership – Recreational Members and Racing Members.
Recreational Members
Whether it’s to prepare for a big event ride, like the Round-the-Bay, or just for the opportunity to ride with like-minded people, a recreational membership will give you access to rides and activities to help you become a safer, fitter and stronger rider.
Recreational Members can enjoy:
- our club rides and training sessions; and
- all our social events.

Racing Members
Racing members can enjoy:
- club and Northern Combine races, including track racing, our summer criteriums, Northern Combine road races and other clubs’ criteriums (e.g. Kew Crits run by Hawthorn Cycling Club)
- Cycling Victoria “open” races – a higher standard of racing for those who love to compete with the best;
- our club rides and training activities; and
- all our social events.
Racing Members must purchase an Elite, Masters or Junior Racing Licence from Cycling Australia.
A Racing Licence is a requirement to start in any races at the Club, Combine and/or Open levels.
Please note: purchasing a Racing Licence from Cycling Australia also includes your Coburg Cycling Club membership. The Club will be automatically notified of your purchase and you will be added to our register of members.
