There are so many different categories of racing license on the cycling Vic website. Which one should I get?

Jonathan, all depends how old you are and what races you want to do.
Anyone under 23yo just needs to get the respective licence for their age.
If you’re over 30yo, you have two options:
1) a masters licence. This only enables you to race in masters events and the masters grades of open events.
2) an elite licence. This enables you to race all races, incl masters events. A lot of masters riders take this option for the flexibility.
If you’re aged between 23 & 30y, you’re looking at the elite licence.
